CONFERENCE PROGRAM
Presentation Guidelines
Regular presentations will be 20 minutes in length, followed by a 10 minute question and answer session. Each presentation room will have a digital projector and an internet-connected laptop with a recent version of Powerpoint and a pdf reader installed. Participants may connect their own laptops as well; please bring any special video adapters needed to convert from VGA. Please e-mail us at
liar-iii@illinois.edu if you have additional audiovisual needs (including any audio elements of your presentation).
Poster Guidelines
The poster session will take place from 3:45 - 4:30 PM on Thursday, August 30th. Posters may be put up beginning at 2:00 PM and must be removed by 7:00 PM on August 30th. Posters should be no larger than 48" x 36" in size; posters will be affixed to the poster display boards with T-pins that we will provide. The
Linguistic Society of America has a number of useful suggestions on poster design.
Internet Access
Wireless Internet access will be available in the Levis Center through the network "UIUCNet" for University of Illinois-affiliated students and faculty; visitors to the university can connect through the network "UIPublicWiFi". This service is offered free of charge to conference participants.
